St. John's Sadochok

Ukrainian Bilingual and Immersion Classes
for children aged 3-5

St. John's Sadochok feels very strongly in creating a caring and safe environment for our children to play and learn in. The aim of the program is to provide our children with play, social and learning opportunities which augment those skills necessary in the primary grades.

The program aims to assist in the development of sharing and caring for others and for their environment, as well as building personal qualities such as self-esteem and self-confidence. We challenge and encourage the children, however will never force them to do anything they do not want to complete.

St. John's Sadochok has been in operation for over 50 years and is run by the Sadochok Parent Volunteers under the auspicies of the Ukrainian Women's Association of Canada, St. John's Branch. The program encourages learning through play and offers a variety of culturally rich experiences, including language, songs, crafts, customs, and traditions.
